dango! i'm downloading hana yori dango 2 (the sequel to one of my favorite animes turned live action) and so i thought that i'd make some happy dango while i wait for it to finish :)
i've seen a few amigurumi cakes/flans and thought i'd give it a try. tah dah! strawberry! ... yum...
artie and i were playing super mario galaxy (excellent game by the way) obsessively for awhile and so all these mario themed projects started popping up in my head. the 1up was so fun to make and turned out even better than i had hoped! the question block was made by crocheting six squares then sewing them together. i had to put in pieces of cardboard to keep it looking boxy because once i stuffed it it turned into a shapeless blobule! super marioooo!!

mama says that we're gumdrops but papa thinks we look more like mochi balls. either way we make cute desk mates :)
