Your ami is so cute!! That video--indeed, very odd :) My favorite part is when the gentleman says, "I think I'm done eating now."
thank you lisa! have you seen the other videos? they're very addicting!
Hi, I really love your green mameshiba. Could u post the pattern or discribe roughly how I should shape it?I can crochet well, but am still struggling with shaping "free-style" crocheting without patterns.Any tips u can offer me?I'm always trying to crochet game characters (as they're patterns are pretty rare to find online), but they come out misshapen and look just...weird. Its difficult making them proportional and cute.
thanks wynite! i struggle with shaping also. that's why i still like using patterns made by others so that i learn new techniques. it's amazing what people have thought of! the mameshiba was very simple. to make it bean shaped, i simply added a few decreases when i got to the middle. that pulled in the yarn a bit so that it dips a little. i hope that makes sense :) wolfdreamer has a fantastic blog where you can find patterns for lots of video game characters http://wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.com/ you should definitely check it out!
Omg...love it! My son showed me all (yes, all..lol) of the mameshiba videos...I wish I knew Japanese so I could understand the little guy...lol, but beginning amigurumi, he wants me to make him one too..I'm using yours as a guide, so thank you!! Kudos for making it look identical :)
can you post the pattern please
Please help me with the pattern. I tried to make one but it didn't turn out a bean shape. I don't know why...I start at magic circle 6st, then 12 then 18 then 24 am I doing the right things? Please answer me. I failed two times already :<
hi vivian! my bean shape is very subtle. the photo makes it look more bean-y than it really is. i may post the pattern since so many people have requested it. check back soon okay? :)
Thank you very much. I cant wait :)
